BEIJING, Aug. 22 (Xinhua) -- The New Orleans-based Lightwire Theater will bring an electroluminescent theatrical performance to audiences in the National Center for the Performing Arts in Beijing from Aug. 27 to 29.

"Dino-Light," also known as "Darwin the Dinosaur," will be performed in complete darkness featuring electroluminescent wire blend of puppetry, technology and dance. The 60-minute show tells the story of a famous scientist with magic powers, who brings a friendly dinosaur to life.

Produced by the electroluminescent artistry maker -- Lightwire Theater, which has been featured as semi-finalists on America's Got Talent and winners of Tru TV's Fake Off, the show is the first feature-length theatrical production created and performed by creators Ian Carney and Corbin Popp.

The tickets for the play are on sale, ranging from 100 yuan (about 14.1 U.S. dollars) to 500 yuan.

The group started its tour in China in 2018 and scheduled a total of 20 "Dino-Light" shows in cities all over the country, according to the offical website of the Lightwire Theater.
